Independent Sales Agent
Location: Openings throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico
Job Description: The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative marketing and sales programs and promotions that grow sales at optimal profit margins.
Responsibilities:
- Establish personal goals that are consistent with corporate standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals
- Maintain knowledge of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc. and how they benefit the dealership and its customers
- Demonstrates payment protection systems and automotive anti-theft systems by explaining characteristics, capabilities and features; comparing and contrasting competitive products; explaining warranties and services
- Prospect daily for potential customers; maintain consistent rapport with previously sold customers
- Responsible for building the client base through cold calling, referral and correspondence methods
- Learn to overcome objections; ask for the sale; negotiate price; complete sales or purchase agreement; explain and offer services
- Provide sales management information by completion reports
Employment/Educational Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience with account sales management in the automotive aftermarket industry, specifically new car franchise dealerships and buy-here-pay-here dealerships
- Demonstrated account management experience, hands-on, dynamic, aggressive business development and relationship management
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive anti-theft market or buy-here-pay-here market
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
- Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic
- Great attitude with a high-energy personality
- Value-added selling coupled with superior customer service skills
- A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment
- Self-starter and self-motivated
